Skincare Device Sudoku ⭐️

Skincare Sudoku: Inspired by the Packing Sudoku Trend

You may have seen the “packing sudoku” or “outfit sudoku” trend floating around social media.

It’s a grid where you pack or style items so each row, column or diagonal creates a different combination each time. It’s structured, satisfying, and strangely addictive.

And naturally… my brain went:

What if we did this for skincare devices?

So I created Skincare Sudoku.

Not because we need more steps.

But because we need more structure.

Why I Made This

I get questions constantly about combining devices:

Can I do LED and RF together?

Where does microcurrent go?

Is three devices too much?

What goes first?

And the answer is not random.

Each device stimulates a different pathway in the skin:

• Mitochondrial energy

• Collagen remodeling

• Muscle stimulation

• Circulation

• Lymphatic movement

The order matters. The combination matters.

Instead of giving you one rigid routine, I wanted to create a flexible system that still follows safe, intelligent rules.

Enter: Skincare Device Sudoku.

How to Play Skincare Sudoku

The grid includes:

❤️ Serum = Anchor serum

LED

NEWA (RF)

ZIIP (microcurrent)

LIP (Dr Rajani lip and mouth device)

★ = Empty square

Here are the rules:

1. Pick any row or any column

2. Find the serum square ❤️, place your finger on it (you will apply this serum before you start any of the protocols)...I will provide some great serum options that do not interfere with any of the devices or protocols.

3. Now, move one direction along that line: right, left, up, down or diagonal (diagonal is always just the serum plus one device).

4. Use UP to three devices. Do them in the order your finger passes over them.

5. Skip the stars.

6. If you hit ZIIP (microcurrent), you stop. Microcurrent always goes last.

That’s it. I have arranged the grid so that no matter what, if you follow these rules you will always have a good protocol. The protocol will always be: using a targeted serum plus one, two or three devices In the proper order.

You don’t have to overthink it. The structure does the thinking for you.

PRO TIP: you may cocktail good skincare IN to your conductivity gel in addition to using it to kick off your protocol. For example: I love to put a couple drops of the Reset Serum IN to my ZIIP gel.

Why These Pairings Work

ANCHOR SERUM

Photozyme Reset Serum (Anchor Step)

When we’re using energy-based devices, I want antioxidant support and cellular (DNA) repair happening at the same time.

The Reset Serum becomes the constant. It prepares the skin and supports it during stimulation.

Other serum options:

LED (my mask pick is CurrentBody)

LED works at the mitochondrial level.

It increases ATP production and supports collagen signaling.

It’s incredibly versatile. It can go before RF or before microcurrent.

Think of LED as cellular energy support.

LED Options:

Currentbody Series 2 LED Mask https://go.shopmy.us/p-30715877 code LEDPENN

Maysama Pulsed Light Panel https://go.shopmy.us/p-2704045 code PENN10

Higherdose LED Mat https://go.shopmy.us/p-38877910 code PENNHD

Higherdose LED Shower Head (doubles as a panel) https://go.shopmy.us/p-38878062 code PENNHD

RF (Radio Frequency)

Newa https://go.shopmy.us/p-3666431 code Penny15 for a discount! This code often stacks on top of their sale prices for an extra discount!

RF creates controlled dermal heating.

That heat stimulates fibroblasts and supports collagen remodeling.

This is your structural device.

It makes sense to follow it with microcurrent for sculpting.

Microcurrent

ZiiP https://go.shopmy.us/p-42780278 code ZIIPPENN for a discount

Microcurrent stimulates facial muscles and improves lymphatic movement.

It gives temporary lift and tone.

This is always the finishing move. That’s why I always want it to go last if it is included in a protocol.

If you are looking for budget conductivity gel options for your Microcurrent devices then check these out:

La Mieux Calming Gel https://amzn.to/4ruQcyA

Karuno Conductive Gel (this is under $10) https://amzn.to/4aIMrhW

Lip LED (Dr Rajani' s Plasma Glo LED Lip and Mouth Device)

https://store.rajanimd.com/pennsmithskincare code Penn15 gets a discount.

Targeted collagen support around the lip border, on the actual lips and inside the mouth (gums).

This allows for focused nights when you want lip rejuvenation without doing a full face stack.

IF you don't own this one, simply skip over it :)

Body Version: Same Concept, Different Tissue

For the body grid, we adjust slightly.

The anchor becomes the

Regelica Immunity Essence

It provides hydration, antioxidant support, and glow across a larger surface area.

Even though it contains a tiny amount of oil, it does not interfere with conductivity for microcurrent.

The devices include:

• LED (choose your favorite) for circulation and mitochondrial support

Maysama Pulse Light Panel https://go.shopmy.us/p-32615787 code PENN10

Higherdose LED Mat https://go.shopmy.us/p-42460701 code PENNHD for a discount

• RF (NEWA) for collagen stimulation in lax areas

Newa https://go.shopmy.us/p-3666431 code Penny15, this code often stacks on top of their sale prices for an extra discount!

• Body Microcurrent for muscle tone and lymphatic movement

HigherDose Body Sculptor https://go.shopmy.us/p-43394058 code PENNHD saves

The same rules apply:

Serum first.

Microcurrent (HigherDose) last.

Maximum three devices.

Why This System Works

This isn’t about doing more.

It’s about doing things intentionally.

When you layer devices randomly, you risk:

• Overstimulation

• Doing steps in the wrong order

• Reducing conductivity

• Not getting the full benefit

The Sudoku format creates structured flexibility.

Some nights might be:

Glow-focused (LED + microcurrent)

Tighten-focused (RF + microcurrent)

Recovery-focused (LED only)

Targeted (Lip LED + microcurrent)

You choose based on your skin that day.

I Created a Downloadable Version (face)

Because this isn’t meant to live in your head.

You can print it or download it.

Keep it in your skincare drawer.

Or save it on your phone.

Pick your line. Follow the rules. Stop when you hit ZIIP.

Skincare does not need to be chaotic.

It can be strategic.

And if you try it, I would genuinely love to know:

Which line did you pick?
